Dose anyone know any good source for worldwide forum statistics?

Statistics on e.g.:
- how many forums are there (per country, and for the whole world),
    how many people use this or that forum,
- what topics are being discussed,
    how many people talk about this and that topic.

Something similar, but for blogs, wikis, facebook, twitter, would be:

and Technorati's State of the Blogosphere yearly reports -- but for forums.

When I google for "forum statistics", hundreds or thousands of *individual* forum statistics pages pollute the search results.

( I've found www.big-boards.com,
but I'm not sure it's maintained actively anymore
(for example, the site says "copyright © 2003-2005"),
also it tracks only forums with >= 500 000 posts. )


(I hope this is a reasonably right place to ask?)
