Redirect forums act as internal or external links to other pages on the same website as a forum or to other webpages on the internet. There are two main types of redirect forums: 'direct' redirect forums bring the user right to the website that s/he desires; 'indirect' redirect forums will usually display a hit counter (the number of people to use the link) and will redirect the user to a page that then tells them that they will be redirected.
